When I was a young boy, I learned a hymn at church that ended with these words: “Count your blessings, name them one by one; count your many blessings, see what God hath done.” So, that’s what I started doing… I learned very quickly, that it was impossible to list all my blessings–but I enjoyed trying! It became very clear to me, that my life was filled with enumerable blessings! I have since learned–and have taught people for years–that living with an attitude of gratitude is a foundation stone of a compelling and happy life. I can honestly say, that if I died at this very moment, I would do so knowing that I have enjoyed an incredibly blessed life filled with wonder, adventure, abundance, and joy. Life is so very good!
